The brief

Everything, in their pocket.

Guests were flying to an island for a wedding at a private villa. Before they packed a bag, they needed four answers — on their phones, all in one place.

Where do I land?

Cyril E. King Airport (STT). No passport for U.S. citizens, and the villa is about 25 minutes away.

Travel

Where am I sleeping?

Your room, numbered and colored on an overhead floor plan of the villa.

Rooms

When do I need to be where?

Two days, five moments — each with a time, a place and an add-to-calendar button.

Schedule

What do I pack?

Reef-safe sunscreen, linen and cotton, and a light wrap for the evening breeze.

What’s inside

Every answer, one tap away.

Twelve pages under one floating nav. Each one answers a question a guest would otherwise text the couple.

01Home

A countdown to paradise.

It opens full-screen: the two of them under the trees, their names set large in Cormorant, and a live countdown — days, hours, minutes, seconds — under two words: Paradise in.

Keep scrolling for engagement photos, the storybook and quick links to the RSVP, the weekend and the villa.

02RSVP

Kindly respond.

A reply takes about two minutes: Joyfully accept or Regretfully decline, plus a note for song requests, allergies and excitement. The deadline sits right at the top, and every reply is saved privately for the couple.

  • Accept or decline cards
  • Deadline up top
  • Private replies
The RSVP page on a phone: “Kindly respond,” the RSVP heading and a dark pill reading RSVP deadline: August 1, 2026.
The RSVP form: name and email fields, two large cards — Joyfully accept, See you in St. Thomas! and Regretfully decline, There in spirit — a note field and a Send our reply button.

03Schedule

Two days, five moments.

Every moment gets a time, a place and a line about what to expect. Times are in Atlantic time, one tap adds a moment — or the whole weekend — to your calendar, and the ceremony card goes dark so nobody misses it.

Getting there, and staying a while.

Travel covers flights, key dates and getting around — fly into STT, taxis are cash only, the villa is about 25 minutes out. Things to do adds beaches, snorkeling and island tours. The Fine Print handles what to pack, what’s for dinner and what to wear.

Ten years, one book.

Their story, told as a book you open with a tap and page through with a swipe — ten years in the making. In our own words adds both sides of it: Christy’s and Wayne’s.

The gallery holds 23 engagement photos with a full-screen lightbox, and a Guest lens lets guests send in their own shots — only the ones the couple approves appear.

08Rooms

A room for everyone.

Seven bedrooms on two levels, drawn as an overhead floor plan. Every room has a number and a color that match the list of who’s staying where. Main level, lower level — one tap to switch.

We’re not showing the real page: it’s full of our guests’ names. The sketch here shows the idea.

Design notes

Designed like an invitation.

The site’s own design system is called Sunset Editorial: warm paper, a deep rust, a romantic serif and a quiet sans to do the work.

The floating nav

The floating bottom nav on a phone: Home, Schedule, Rooms, RSVP and More, with Schedule filled in rust.

Five tabs on a phone, nine on a desktop — a rounded bar that floats over the page, always one thumb away. The page you’re on fills in rust.

Cormorant Garamond Display

Names, headlines, times and the storybook. Tall, light and a little romantic — with italics saved for the words that matter.

Hanken Grotesk Interface

The rust Send our reply button set in Hanken Grotesk capitals, above the line “Your reply is saved privately for Wayne and Christy.”

Everything you read and tap: labels, buttons, the nav. Clean and quiet, so the serif can shine.

Mobile-first

Designed at phone size first: big tap targets, short lines, and nothing that needs a mouse.

Built to be fast

Hand-built, not a page builder. Made to open quickly on a phone with one bar of island signal.

Small touches

Add-to-calendar on every moment, directions on every pin, and Share and Install waiting in the More menu.

What happened next

This is where SkyerWorks started.

After the wedding, Villa Serenita’s owner told Wayne her friends needed maps of their villas too. That’s where SkyerWorks’ villa maps came from: the whole property, illustrated from above — the arrival court, every suite, the pool terrace, the ceremony lawn, the walk to the water.
