SkyerWorks Free mockup

The process

How a SkyerWorks project works: from a call to launch.

A SkyerWorks project has four steps: a fifteen-minute call, a free mockup, the build and launch. The price is fixed in a written proposal before any work is billed, and you see a designed first pass of your homepage or map before you pay anything.

  • 4 stepsThe call, the free mockup, the build, then live and looked after.
  • 15 minutesThe first call: your business, your day or your property.
  • Free mockupOne first-pass homepage or map, before any deposit.
  • 50% to beginPaid after you approve the proposal; the balance before launch.

The four steps

Each step ends with something you can see, and nothing is billed until the proposal is approved.

  1. The call

Fifteen minutes about your business, your day or your property: what the site or map has to do, who it is for, when it needs to be live and what you want to spend.

  2. The free mockup

Wayne designs one first-pass homepage, or the first pass of your map, free. You see it before you pay a thing, then say yes or say what to change.

  3. The build

Every page, every room, every pin, built from the approved direction with two revision rounds. Maps are drawn from floor plans, photos or a phone video walk-through.

  4. Live and looked after

Launched on your domain, handed over with access, and updated when plans change.

What you supply

Starting packages use your supplied photos and draft content. What that means depends on the project.

What to send, by project type
ProjectWhat you sendIf you do not have it
Business websiteYour logo, photos, draft text for each page, and the address of any existing site.Copywriting can be quoted into the scope.
Wedding websiteNames, date, venue, schedule, travel details, registry links and photos. For a room finder, how guest details are shared and whether the page needs a password is agreed up front. The launch date is set before any commitment.
Property mapFloor plans, a site plan, listing photos, a drone shot or a phone video walking the property.A video-call walk-through works if there are no plans.

Revision rounds

Every starting package includes two revision rounds. The free mockup is a first pass: your changes to it become part of the build once the proposal is approved.

How the price is fixed

After the mockup you get a written proposal with the scope, the inclusions, the price, the launch date and any third-party software or subscriptions. Payment is 50% to begin and the balance before launch.

Every starting point is on the pricing page. Domain registration and paid third-party services are separate, and additions during the build are quoted separately.

What launch includes

Launch means the site or map is live on your domain, in your name, with the access you need.

  • Business websites: page titles, descriptions and search setup; analytics setup and a launch handover.
  • Wedding websites: 12 months of standard hosting included.
  • Maps: a mobile-friendly map, a shareable page and print-ready artwork.
  • Every project: after final payment, your design, content and domain are yours; the shared map engine is licensed to you for your site, forever.

After launch

Care plans are $79, $149 or $299 a month, or you can edit the site yourself if you ask for an editing system at the start.

The $79 plan covers standard hosting, monitoring, backups and applicable software maintenance; $149 and $299 add up to 1 or 3 hours of updates each month. Details are on the pricing page.

How long it takes

Your launch date is set in the proposal, before any payment. The biggest variable is content: how quickly photos and text arrive.

A one-page site with content in hand is a short project; a five-page site with custom features, or a map of a large property, takes longer. If you have a hard date, say so on the call.

Questions about the process

Do I pay anything before I see a design?

No. After a short call confirms scope and budget, Wayne designs one first-pass homepage or map, free. Revisions and the full build start after you approve the proposal and pay the 50% deposit.

What happens on the first call?

Fifteen minutes on what the site or map has to do, who it is for, when it needs to be live and what you want to spend. Calls are by video; SkyerWorks is remote-first and works with clients across the United States and the Caribbean.

How many revision rounds do I get?

Two, in every starting package. Changes to the free mockup become part of the build once the proposal is approved, and anything beyond the agreed scope is quoted separately.

What if my photos and text are not ready?

Starting packages use your supplied photos and draft content, so the schedule follows the content. Copywriting can be quoted into the scope.

Who does the work?

Wayne Scire designs and builds every site and every map himself. SkyerWorks is a one-person studio founded in 2026, and Wayne has been designing websites for about fifteen years.
